Did you purchase one of the new ECW Cookbooks? If you did please note that there are a couple of corrections:
Page 109 Zucchini Quiche needs 1 cup of Bisquick.
Page 72 the Black and White Bean Chili needs 1 can of black beans.
There are still a few copies of the cookbook available at $10.00 each. They, along with cards, coffee, and other ECW items, are sold in the Guild Room, generally on the first Sunday morning of each month.
SPIRITUALITY DAY - Thank you for all your help with the 17th Annual Spirituality Day held at St. Mary’s April 19th. It was great to see so many women of St. Mary’s attend.
Special thanks go to our keynote speaker, Marla Lowen, for her joyful and moving program on hymnal music; Penny Berktold, who preached on Grace; Nancy Muhlheim, who added her own grace to our opening and closing worship; Adrienne Lannom and Anne Smith for leading workshops on Embodying Prayer and Anglican Beads Prayer; Nicole Smithweiland who braved the snow and hail of a mid-April day to help visitors find places to park; Juretta Nidever who stayed at the Welcome desk and greeted all to the church; Linda Bumpus in the kitchen; Cynthia Kokis and Olympia Minard in the parish hall; Jane Smith who kept the coffee flowing; Pilgrims: Austin Anderson, Clare Elam, Ellen Lowden, Marissa Robb, and Sarah Sprague for serving and cleanup; and most especially to the Planning Committee members from St. Mary’s: Judi Baumgarner, Phyllis Hockley, Katharine Hunt, and Nancy Crawford.
