Dear friends,
and to let you know that Helen and I are both fine
and enjoying settling in to our new home and a new place. The two church
communities have both been very welcoming and are keeping me busy (I'd
forgotten what it is like to deal with funerals, baptisms and weddings
for a whole community - mostly non-church). Helen has already made links with
the local church primary school doing supply teaching and it looks like
something more permanent might be on the horizon from October next year.
Before reaching England we had a fantastic
time travelling across the United States - I hope to put some photos and text
together for the September Bellringer. It was wonderful to have Jim
and Marilyn Murdock here for the licensing - I'm sure they will have shared
news of their trip and the people they met here in Coleshill.
