Fellowship

Coffee Hours

Following each of the Sunday morning church services, everyone is welcome to gather for fellowship over coffee, tea, and snacks. Unless otherwise announced, coffee hour is in the Guild Room. Many parishioners donate a bit of their time to make coffee hour happen.

Evening at St. Mary’s

An Evening at St. Mary’s is an opportunity for parishioners to get together for a delicious meal and fellowship time followed by a short program. The programs vary and over the course of the year, often include a Cinco de Mayo celebration, a St. Mary’s presentation of “A Christmas Carol”, a presentation and fundraiser by one of our youth programs, and the Shrove Tuesday pancake supper and Mardi Gras celebration. Any St. Mary’s group may put on an Evening at St. Mary’s. Currently, Betsy Tesi is our coordinator. Interested groups may contact her to talk about the possibility and responsibility of hosting one of these fun evenings. Check the Bellringer and/or our Events Calendar for details about upcoming "An Evening at St. Mary's" events!

Tuesday, March 5th at 5:30 PM
This summer, Annie Beckstrand will be traveling to Peru with Global Leadership Adventures on a service mission. Join us for a delicious meal of Peruvian recipes and a presentation on her trip, Service in the Sacred Valley. All donations support Annie's trip. Sign up by the welcome desk at church or by calling the office (541-343-9253) to request that we add you to the RSVP list.

20/30's Fellowship

If you are in your 20/30s, we would like to get to know you (and significant others or spouses). We look forward to meeting you! Betsy+ invites you to contact her to arrange a coffee or tea meeting so you can learn more about where you can fit in.

The St. Mary's facilitator is the Rev. Betsy Tesi. All interested persons may contact her at St. Mary's or their own clergy in their individual parishes for more information.

St. Mary’s Quilting Guild

St. Mary’s Quilting Guild meets every Wednesday from 9:00 AM until as late as 4:00 PM, in the Guild Room. The purpose of this group is to continue the tradition of this guild which was founded in 1860. They use the income generated by our work to purchase a variety of items used by our clergy and the congregation for worship. A few years ago, the St. Mary's Quilting Guild donated our prayer candle stand. More recently, they donated a new purple chasuble for Advent.

St. Mary's Needle Arts Guild

St. Mary's Needle Arts Guild meets every Thursday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM and 5:30 - 7:00 PM in the Guild Room. Members work on both personal projects and St. Mary's Prayer Shawls. Tea and cookies are often shared. Attendees of any skill level are welcomed! It's a great place to sharpen your skills and learn new techniques. Most attendees are knitters, though we also have other skills present such as rug hooking.

Once a month, on the first Thursday of each month, we have a Needle Arts Guild Potluck at Noon. We meet in the parish hall to share food and fellowship. All are welcome!
