Youth Education: Sunday school and Beyond
St. Mary's offers a comprehensive Christian education program for children, youth, and young adults starting at age four. Our curriculum includes Godly Play, the Episcopal Children's Curriculum, and the Journey to Adulthood program. There is also a staffed nursery available during the Family Eucharist and Santa Eucharistia for infants and toddlers.

Acolytes: If you are eight years old or more, you are invited to learn the duties of an acolyte or crucifer and assist with Sunday or special services.
Youth and Young Adults are also welcome to join more fully in the life of the church through all ministries, and as Lectors or Ushers for services.
Children's Choir: This choir for children grades K - 3rd sings at the 9:30 am service on the third Sunday of each month, sings carols at Christmastime and also performs at a spring concert. Rehearsals are from 3:30 - 4:10 pm on Wednesdays when school is in session. This introduction to choral singing focuses on posture, diction and intonation.
Youth Choir: This choir is for children in the 4th through 8th grade. They perform at the 9:30 am service on the second Sunday of every month, along with caroling at Christmastime and the spring concert. Children wear robes and participate in the processional. During the service the choir sings an introit, anthem, prayer response, and communion anthem. Rehearsals are from 11:15 - noon on Sundays when school is in session.
