Giving Day
May 18th is Giving Day 2025!
Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising event to
offer our gratitude to God,
celebrate St. Mary's community, and
support our ministries.
Your gift this year will support three vital areas:
Outreach: Rising food costs have stretched our capacity to feed our hungry neighbors. Our usual fundraising and budgeted support haven’t kept pace with food inflation. A Giving Day boost will ensure we continue to feed folks with the nutritious delicious meals we are known for.
Building: Ministry happens in and from our building. To serve effectively, we need to care for the space that houses our worship, education, fellowship, and outreach. While major improvements require a capital campaign, many small-to-mid-sized repairs rely on our Building Fund. Recent projects—like replacing broken windows, restoring the upstairs HVAC system, and repairing door hardware—have depleted this fund. Your support will help us replenish it.
Music: Music lifts our hearts to God and knits us together as a community of faith. The Music Reserve Fund maintains our instruments and supports musicians for special occasions like Easter, Advent, All Saints, and Christmas. Recent improvements and repairs have been a blessing, and now the fund needs to be brought back up to keep the music playing.

Offer Our Gratitude to God: Our faith teaches us the importance and power of gratitude. Giving Day provides us with a special opportunity to express our thankfulness for the abundant grace that God has showered upon us.
Celebrate the St. Mary’s Community: Community is at heart of St. Mary's, a place where people come together to support and uplift one another in times of joy and adversity. Giving Day is a celebration of our values, relationships, and ministry.
Financially Support Our St. Mary’s Ministry: Our ministry is made possible by the generous financial gifts you have entrusted to us. Giving Day is an opportunity to financially support our ministry.

Electronic Check: An electronic check goes directly from your checking account to ours. When signing up with your bank, please be sure to note that our mailing address is 1300 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401.
Cash: We don’t recommend that you send cash through the mail; however, you can give with cash at our in-person services. If you want to be credited for a cash donation, please put a note in the envelope with your name on it.
