Personnel Changes

Introducing Aimee Fritsch

Aimee Fritsch (pictured above) is in her first year of Diaconate studies with Bexley-Seabury seminary, and the Diocese of Oregon, and is excited to be joining St. Mary’s for her first contextual education placement. She’s coming from Salem, where she has been a member of St. Paul’s Salem since 2019. Aimee has been involved with St. Paul’s Pride (the LGBTQ+ ministry), Godly Play, youth ministry, social justice efforts and the midweek worship service. In her paid work, Aimee coordinates the creation of a statewide natural disaster resiliency plan for the Governor's Office. When she's not at work or at church, Aimee enjoys hanging out with her cat, Xerxes, riding her e-bike, and playing cozy video games.

Please welcome Aimee as she learns the ins and outs of a deacon in parish ministry under the guidance of Deacon Nancy.

Shifts in Staff Duties

Since Luna Molina has moved to Portland we have shifted her tasks to other staff members.

Emily Breding, our finance and records manager, is expanding her hours from 32 to 40 a week. She is now managing the building calendar and handling community use requests of the building. She is also in charge of ordering all supplies.

Louise Fortuna, our communication and program coordinator, is coordinating our office assistants.

For building maintenance, repairs, or attention items, please either fill out the forms found in the orange maintenance binder in the work room or send an email to building@saint-marys.org.
