Fellowship

Coffee Hours

We have coffee hour, usually in the Guild Room, between the 9:30 and 11 AM worship services on Sunday mornings. If you are interested in helping with coffee hour, please email Louise@saint-marys.org.

Evening at St. Mary’s

Evening at St. Mary’s are opportunities for parishioners to get together for a delicious meal, fellowship time, and a short - typically liturgically based - program. We start with social hour in the Guild Room while the children and youth gather in the Sunday School wing for a craft or activity. We usually move to the church for the short program or learning piece, then we all move up to Berktold Hall for dinner. Check the Bellringer and/or our Events Calendar for details about upcoming events!

HIBsters (Happy In-Betweeners)

Who are the hibsters?  We're the happy in-betweeners, not too old to have fun, and not so young that we're doing crazy things.  It's a self-defined group so please come if this sounds fun. It doesn't matter if you are married, single, gay, straight, with children or without. Join us to socialize and have a fun time with low commitment.  We meet monthly, and try to do a variety of activities, ranging from outdoor hikes and birdwatching to arcade games at a bar to board game day or holiday party at someone's house.  We have an informal leadership and are always open to suggestions. We meet at various locations off-site. Please see the Bellringer or Events Calendar for more information.

St. Mary’s Men’s Group

The Men’s Group usually meets on 2nd Wednesdays at 6 PM in Berktold Hall.  This gathering is open to all. Those attending should bring a protein to cook and  something to share.  Usually a Compline service follows the meal. If you have questions, please contact the office and we will connect you with the group.

St. Mary’s Quilting Guild

Wednesdays 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (end time varies)
This guild was founded in 1860. Income generated by this guild’s work is used to purchase a variety of items used by our clergy and the congregation for worship, such as our prayer candle stand and the new purple chasuble worn in Advent.

St. Mary's Needle Arts Guild

Thursdays 1:00-3:00 PM
Members work on both personal projects and St. Mary's Prayer Shawls. All skill levels are welcome. This is a great place to sharpen your skills and learn new techniques. If you want to learn, we're happy to teach. Most attendees are knitters, though we often have other skills present such as rug hooking, crochet, embroidery, and needle point.
